M.C. Strong
M.C. grew up in Bridgeport, WV and graduated from Fairmont State College. After college M.C. moved to Myrtle Beach, SC (6 years – worked for The Anchor Bank) then to Greenville, SC where she spent 5 years with Branch Banking and Trust in their business loan department. She came to Hilton Head in 1992, taking a job with the Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce.
In the course of her 10 years with the Chamber, she was promoted to Vice President, Member Services. She graduated from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Management School at the University of Georgia. While at the Chamber M.C. was the Executive Director for the Hilton Head/Bluffton Leadership program and one of three honorary Leadership Hilton Head/Bluffton Graduates. M.C. is the host of “Hilton Head Today,” where she interviews celebrities, business owners and organizers of charity fundraisers. The show airs twice daily at 7 AM and 7 PM on WHHI-TV3.

M. C. is the Past President of the Zonta Club of Bluffton and has severed on various non-profit boards and committees. She is a “wine-enthusiast” and is a member of Chaine des Rotisseurs a worldwide gastronomic and wine society. She is a member of Church of the Cross Episcopal Church. M.C. has a 19-year old son, Forrest and is married to David Strong.
